✓ We verify your benefits first 🚚 Delivered or shipped

Catheters and urological supplies in Palm Beach County — intermittent, Foley, external and closed-system catheters from Bard, Coloplast, Hollister and Cure Medical, shipped across Florida by Scotts Medical Supply.

Catheter supply is a line where getting the exact item matters more than almost anywhere else. French size, tip style, coating, length, and whether it is a closed system are not preferences — they are the difference between a routine catheterisation and a urinary tract infection.

We stock 425 urological items and we supply what your urologist specified.

What we stock

  • Intermittent catheters — straight and coudé tip, uncoated, hydrophilic and pre-lubricated

  • Foley (indwelling) catheters — two-way and three-way, latex and silicone
  • External (condom) catheters and securement
  • Suprapubic catheter supplies
  • Leg bags, night drainage bags, straps and holders
  • Insertion trays, irrigation trays and syringes
  • Catheter securement devices
  • Urinary drainage accessories and cleaning supplies

Brands

We stock, among others: Bard Medical, Coloplast, Hollister, Cure Medical, ConvaTec, Kendall, Covidien. All brands we carry →

Brand availability changes. If your clinician specified a product, give us the manufacturer reference number and we will source that item rather than substituting an equivalent.

Is it covered?

Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.

What we do about it: before we deliver your urological supplies, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.

We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.

What your order needs

Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.

  • A written order stating the catheter type, French size, tip style and length, and the quantity per day
  • Documentation of the underlying condition — retention, neurogenic bladder, or another cause of the need to catheterise
  • For coudé tips, hydrophilic or closed systems, documentation of why the standard uncoated catheter is not suitable. Plans routinely ask for this and it is the most common reason a catheter order stalls
  • Your current product reference from the box, if you have one

Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my plan want a reason for a coudé or hydrophilic catheter?
Because those cost more than a plain uncoated catheter, so plans want a documented clinical reason — a stricture, an enlarged prostate, recurrent UTIs, difficult insertion. It has to be in the chart, not just said on the phone. We will tell your urologist's office exactly what wording their note needs.
How many catheters a month am I allowed?
Most plans allow a quantity based on catheterising several times a day, with sterile single use. If you need more than the standard allowance there is usually a documented route to it. We will check your specific limit.
Can I get a different brand? I keep getting UTIs.
Talk to your urologist — recurrent UTI is a clinical problem, and the answer might be a different technique or a closed system rather than a different brand. Whatever they decide, we can almost certainly supply it.
Do you ship discreetly?
Yes. Plain outer packaging with no product description on the outside.
Do I need a prescription?
For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.
How do I know what my plan will pay?
We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.
How fast can I get it?
Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.
Can you ship, or do you deliver?
Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach and Broward.

Not sure where to start?

Call us and tell us what happened — a surgery, a new diagnosis, a discharge date, a supply you keep running out of. We will tell you what is usually needed, check your benefits, and ask your prescriber for the order if you do not have one yet.
