Enteral nutrition & tube feeding

180 enteral items — formula, pumps, feeding sets, extension sets, syringes and G-tube supplies for adults and children.

✓ We verify your benefits first 🚚 Delivered or shipped

Enteral nutrition and tube feeding supplies in Palm Beach County — Abbott and Nestle formula, pumps, feeding sets and G-tube supplies from Scotts Medical Supply, Boca Raton FL.

Tube feeding does not tolerate supply gaps. If the formula does not arrive, there is no substitute to fall back on and no way to skip a day. That makes reliability the whole job.

We supply 180 enteral items — standard, high-calorie, peptide-based, fibre-containing, diabetes-specific and pediatric formulas, with the pumps and the disposables that go with them — on a fixed schedule.

Brand availability changes. If your clinician specified a product, give us the manufacturer reference number and we will source that item rather than substituting an equivalent.

Is it covered?

Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.

What we do about it: before we deliver your enteral nutrition, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.

We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.

What your order needs

Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.

  • A written order stating the formula, the daily volume or calories, and the route (pump, gravity, bolus)
  • Documentation of why oral intake is not sufficient — enteral coverage under Medicare is a prosthetic-device benefit and turns on documented impairment, not simply poor appetite
  • The tube type and size, and the date it was placed
  • For pediatric patients, weight and growth documentation

Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.

Frequently asked questions

Why is enteral nutrition treated as a prosthetic benefit?
Because Medicare covers it on the basis that the tube is replacing the function of a body part that no longer works — not as nutrition support in general. That is why the documentation has to describe a permanent or long-term impairment of the ability to take food by mouth. We will tell your prescriber what their note needs to say.
Can I get the formula my dietitian specified?
Yes — send us the exact product name. Substituting formula is a clinical decision, not a purchasing one, and we will not do it without the prescriber agreeing.
How much formula will I receive at a time?
Enough to cover the period plus a buffer, delivered on a schedule. Tell us if your rate changes and we will adjust before you run short.
Do you supply pediatric enteral?
Yes — pediatric and infant formula, small-volume sets and low-profile button supplies.
Do I need a prescription?
For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.
How do I know what my plan will pay?
We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.
How fast can I get it?
Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.
Can you ship, or do you deliver?
Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach and Broward.

Not sure where to start?

Call us and tell us what happened — a surgery, a new diagnosis, a discharge date, a supply you keep running out of. We will tell you what is usually needed, check your benefits, and ask your prescriber for the order if you do not have one yet.
