Wound care is where a supplier being shallow does the most damage. A wound needs a specific dressing for its stage, its exudate level and its tissue type, and swapping a foam for a gauze because that is what was in the van sets healing back weeks.
We stock 566 wound care items so that when a wound clinic writes for a specific dressing, that is what arrives. Foams, alginates and hydrofibres, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, transparent films, antimicrobial silver and iodine dressings, collagen, contact layers, and the compression and securement that goes with them.
Brand availability changes. If your clinician specified a product, give us the manufacturer reference number and we will source that item rather than substituting an equivalent.

Dressing
Best for
How it works
Worth knowing
Foam
Moderate to heavy drainage, pressure injuries, leg ulcers.
Absorbs drainage and cushions the wound.
Bordered foams stay on without tape.
Alginate
Heavy drainage and wounds with depth.
Turns to a soft gel as it absorbs; fills cavities.
Needs a cover dressing; not for dry wounds.
Hydrocolloid
Light drainage and shallow wounds.
Keeps the wound moist and sealed.
Not for infected or heavily draining wounds.
Hydrogel
Dry wounds.
Adds moisture so the wound can heal.
Usually needs a cover dressing.
Gauze
Packing, covering and cleaning.
A simple absorbent layer.
Changed more often than advanced dressings.
Silicone contact layer or border
Fragile, thin skin.
Gentle adhesion that lifts off without tearing skin.
A good fit for older skin.
Plans ask for the order and the wound measurements; we request both from the wound clinic.
Benefits
The dressing your wound care nurse specified, not a substitute
Fewer dressing changes with the right absorbency
Supplies arrive before the next scheduled change
Skin protectants and tapes that match the dressing
Everyday use
The right dressing stays in place between visits, keeps the wound bed moist and protected, and turns a stressful chore into a predictable routine.
Is it covered?
Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.
What we do about it: before we deliver your wound care supplies, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.
We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.
We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.
What you will pay
With Medicare or your plan
We bill your plan directly
You owe only the share your plan sets · we bill a secondary when you have one
Private pay
A plain quote before anything ships
No insurance needed · brand-name or generic to fit the budget
We verify first. Before anything is delivered we tell you what your plan says your share will be. If the plan will not cover it, we say so and quote a private-pay price instead — you decide, nothing is sent on assumption.

What your order needs
Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.
A written order specifying the dressing type, size and change frequency
Wound documentation from the treating clinician — location, type, stage or grade, measurements, and exudate level. Surgical dressing coverage under Medicare is tied directly to this documentation
Whether the wound is surgically created or debrided (this affects coverage for surgical dressings)
Updated measurements as the wound changes — plans reassess quantities against current wound size
Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my plan want wound measurements?
Because surgical dressing coverage is quantity-driven: the number of dressings allowed per month is derived from the wound size, the number of wounds and the change frequency. Without current measurements in the chart the claim has nothing to stand on. We will tell your wound clinic exactly what we need.
Can you supply what the wound clinic ordered, exactly?
That is the intent of stocking 566 items. Send us the order with the manufacturer and product code and we will match it rather than substituting a category equivalent.
Do you supply negative pressure wound therapy?
We supply NPWT dressings, canisters and consumables. Whether the pump itself comes from us or from the wound clinic depends on the arrangement — call and we will sort out who is supplying what so nothing falls between the two.
How often will supplies arrive?
On a schedule matched to your change frequency, so you are not rationing dressings at the end of the month. How resupply works →
Do I need a prescription?
For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.
How do I know what my plan will pay?
We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.
How fast can I get it?
Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.
Can you ship, or do you deliver?
Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade.
