The Lymphedema Treatment Act added a Medicare Part B benefit for compression garments and wraps used to treat lymphedema. Frequently asked questions

Is lymphedema compression covered by Medicare?

There is now a specific Medicare Part B benefit for lymphedema compression under the Lymphedema Treatment Act. It requires a lymphedema diagnosis, an order from your provider and supporting documentation, and it allows set quantities per period. We check what applies to you before ordering and tell you straight.

What about compression for venous disease?

Different rules. Coverage for venous conditions is narrower and diagnosis-specific, and commercial plans vary widely. This is exactly the kind of question we answer per patient rather than promising anything on a web page.

Which brands can you supply?

What strength do I need?

That is a clinical decision belonging to your prescriber. Higher is not better — the wrong class can be dangerous, particularly with arterial disease. We supply what is ordered and flag anything that looks off.
