Most health plans are required to cover a breast pump, and most people find that out too late to arrange it calmly. Start before the birth if you can — the paperwork is straightforward and it is much easier done in advance than in the first exhausted week.

Is it covered?
Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.
What we do about it: before we deliver your breast pumps, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.
We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

What your order needs
Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.
- A written order or prescription from your obstetric provider (most plans require one even where coverage is mandated)
- Your due date or delivery date — plans have windows around it
- Your insurance details so we can confirm which pump models your plan covers, which varies a lot
