Nebulizers & respiratory therapy

Nebulizer compressors, kits, masks and mouthpieces for home respiratory therapy — plus suction machines and tracheostomy supplies.

✓ We verify your benefits first 🚚 Delivered or shipped

Nebulizers, suction machines and tracheostomy supplies in Palm Beach County from Scotts Medical Supply, Boca Raton FL. Medicare and Florida Medicaid accepted.

A nebulizer is a small machine with a big job: it turns prescribed liquid medication into a mist you can breathe. For someone with COPD, asthma or a chronic respiratory condition, it is the difference between managing at home and going back to hospital.

We supply the compressor and the consumables that go with it, and we keep the consumables coming — nebulizer kits are single-patient items that degrade and need regular replacement.

What we stock

  • Nebulizer compressors — tabletop and portable
  • Nebulizer kits, cups and tubing
  • Aerosol masks, pediatric masks and mouthpieces
  • Suction machines, canisters and catheters
  • Tracheostomy tubes, ties, dressings and inner cannulas
  • Humidification supplies
  • Peak flow meters and spacers

Brands

We stock, among others: Drive Medical, Roscoe Medical, Hudson RCI, Philips Respironics, Graham Field. All brands we carry →

Brand availability changes. If your clinician specified a product, give us the manufacturer reference number and we will source that item rather than substituting an equivalent.

Is it covered?

Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.

What we do about it: before we deliver your nebulizers, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.

We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.

What your order needs

Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.

  • A written order for the nebulizer and the medication it will deliver
  • Documentation of the respiratory diagnosis and why an inhaler alone is not sufficient
  • For continuing supplies, an order covering the replacement kits

Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Medicare cover a nebulizer?
A nebulizer is generally a Part B durable medical equipment benefit when it is medically necessary and prescribed, with the condition documented. We verify your specific coverage before supplying.
Do you supply home oxygen?
Federal supplier standards require oxygen to be obtained from a state-licensed oxygen supplier. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve your oxygen need or refer you to someone who can. We will not string you along.
How often do nebulizer kits need replacing?
Regularly — they are not indefinitely reusable and a degraded kit delivers medication poorly. Plans allow replacement on a schedule; we will put you on it.
What happens in a power cut?
This matters in Florida. If you depend on a powered respiratory device, plan for it before hurricane season, not during it. Our hurricane guide →
Do I need a prescription?
For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.
How do I know what my plan will pay?
We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.
How fast can I get it?
Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.
Can you ship, or do you deliver?
Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach and Broward.

Not sure where to start?

Call us and tell us what happened — a surgery, a new diagnosis, a discharge date, a supply you keep running out of. We will tell you what is usually needed, check your benefits, and ask your prescriber for the order if you do not have one yet.
