Bracing works when it is the right brace, fitted correctly, worn as instructed. All three fail regularly, and the second one is usually the supplier’s fault.

We supply post-operative bracing, injury and instability bracing, and the everyday supports that make an arthritic joint tolerable.

Is it covered?

Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.

What we do about it: before we deliver your braces, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.

We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.

What your order needs

Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.

The diagnosis and, for post-operative bracing, the procedure and date
Range-of-motion settings if the brace is adjustable
Measurements — joint circumference, limb length, shoe size as applicable

Frequently asked questions

Off-the-shelf or custom?

Most bracing is off-the-shelf and fits well when properly sized. Custom fabrication is for anatomy or conditions that off-the-shelf cannot accommodate, and it carries a different coverage pathway. We will tell you which yours is before ordering.

How long do I wear it?

Ask the person who prescribed it, and follow that. Post-operative bracing has a protocol with stages, and both over-wearing and under-wearing cause problems. We supply the brace; we do not change the protocol.

The brace rubs and I have stopped wearing it.

Tell us immediately. A brace causing skin breakdown is a real problem, particularly if you have neuropathy or diabetes and might not feel it developing. Usually it is a fit or padding issue we can resolve.

Is bracing covered?

Orthotics have their own coverage rules, generally more restrictive than other DME, and they depend closely on the diagnosis. We verify before ordering.

Do I need a prescription?

For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.

How do I know what my plan will pay?

We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.

How fast can I get it?

Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.

Can you ship, or do you deliver?

Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach and Broward.
