Hospital beds for the home
Semi-electric and full-electric home care beds with rails, mattresses, trapeze bars and overbed tables — delivered and assembled in the room where they will be used.
✓ We verify your benefits first 🚚 Delivered or shippedHospital beds for home use in Palm Beach County — semi-electric, full-electric and bariatric beds with rails and mattresses, delivered and assembled by Scotts Medical Supply, Boca Raton FL.
A hospital bed at home is usually about two things: the person in it can be repositioned safely, and the person caring for them does not destroy their own back doing it. Height adjustment is what protects the caregiver; head and foot articulation is what protects the patient.
We deliver, assemble in the room you choose, and show whoever will be operating it how it works — including the parts people get wrong, like where the rails lock and how to lower the bed in a hurry.

Is it covered?
Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.
What we do about it: before we deliver your hospital beds for the home, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.
We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.
We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.
What your order needs
Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.
- A written order and a face-to-face evaluation
- Documentation of the medical need — typically that the patient requires positioning that an ordinary bed cannot provide, needs the head elevated above a certain angle, needs traction, or needs to change position frequently and cannot do so in a standard bed
- Which type of bed — semi-electric versus full-electric — and why
- Whether rails and a therapeutic mattress are needed, and why
- Room measurements and access — tell us about stairs, narrow doorways and lifts before delivery day
Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.
