✓ We verify your benefits first 🚚 Delivered or shipped

Ostomy supplies in Boca Raton and Palm Beach County — colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy pouches, barriers, wafers and accessories from Hollister, Coloplast, ConvaTec, Nu-Hope and Marlen, shipped across Florida by Scotts Medical Supply.

An ostomy supply order is not a one-off. It is a relationship that has to work every single month, and the way it goes wrong is boringly consistent: the supplier stocks two brands, the one that fits you is not one of them, and you get talked into a system that leaks.

We carry 993 ostomy items. That is the whole point of the line. Colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy; one-piece and two-piece; click couplings and flex couplings; flat, convex and deep-convex barriers; cut-to-fit and pre-cut; pediatric sizes. If a wound-ostomy-continence nurse has fitted you to something specific, we can almost certainly supply it rather than substituting.

What we stock

  • One-piece pouching systems — closed-end and drainable, opaque and transparent
  • Two-piece systems — click (mechanical) and flex (adhesive) coupling
  • Skin barriers and wafers — flat, convex, deep convex; cut-to-fit, pre-cut and moldable
  • Urostomy pouches with anti-reflux valves and night drainage
  • Barrier rings, seals, strips and paste
  • Skin barrier wipes, sprays, adhesive removers and powder
  • Ostomy belts, pouch covers and deodorants
  • Irrigation systems and sleeves
  • Pediatric and neonatal ostomy supplies
  • Stoma caps and mini-pouches

Brands

We stock, among others: Hollister, Coloplast, ConvaTec, Nu-Hope Laboratories, Marlen Manufacturing, Salk, Cymed. All brands we carry →

Brand availability changes. If your clinician specified a product, give us the manufacturer reference number and we will source that item rather than substituting an equivalent.

Is it covered?

Most of what we supply is a Medicare Part B benefit, and most Florida commercial plans and Medicare Advantage plans cover it too, when it is medically necessary and your prescriber has documented why you need it. Coverage is never automatic: it depends on your diagnosis, your plan, and what is written in your chart.

What we do about it: before we deliver your ostomy supplies, we verify your benefits, tell you what your plan says your share will be, and chase any missing paperwork with your prescriber. If your plan will not cover it, we say so up front and quote you a private-pay price instead.

We are enrolled with Medicare as a DMEPOS supplier and we accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and a broad list of commercial plans — see the full list.

We do not publish coverage amounts or fee-schedule figures on this site. Allowables differ by state, by plan and by year, and a number that is stale or from the wrong jurisdiction is worse than no number at all. Call us and we will quote your actual benefit.

What your order needs

Sending these together is the single biggest thing that shortens turnaround. Missing documentation, not policy, is what stalls most orders.

  • A written order from your prescriber identifying the ostomy and the supplies needed
  • Documentation in your chart of the ostomy (surgical history is usually enough)
  • Your current product references — the manufacturer code from the box is the fastest thing you can give us; it removes all guesswork about size, convexity and coupling

Providers: fax to (800) 594-1226 or call (800) 304-7030. If something is missing we will call your office rather than sitting on it.

Frequently asked questions

My current supplier keeps substituting a different brand. Can you match what I actually use?
That is exactly what a 993-item line is for. Give us the manufacturer reference number from your box and we will supply that item, not the nearest thing we happen to stock.
How many pouches am I allowed each month?
Medicare and most plans set quantity limits per item type, and they can be exceeded with documentation when your situation justifies it — a high-output stoma, a leaking peristomal area, frequent changes. We will tell you your limit and, if it is not enough, what your prescriber needs to write.
My skin around the stoma is sore. Can you help?
We can supply barrier rings, convex products, powders and protective wipes, and we can tell you what other people use. What we cannot do is assess your skin — peristomal skin breakdown needs a WOC nurse or your surgeon. Ask us and we will supply what they recommend, quickly.
Do you carry pediatric sizes?
Yes. Pediatric and neonatal ostomy products are a distinct part of the line.
Do I need a prescription?
For anything billed to Medicare, Medicaid or a commercial plan, yes — and most plans also want chart notes showing why you need it. If you do not have an order yet, we can request one from your prescriber.
How do I know what my plan will pay?
We verify it before we ship and tell you what we found, including your expected share. We do not publish coverage amounts on this site because they vary by plan, by state and by year.
How fast can I get it?
Private-pay and stocked supply items move quickly. Anything requiring prior authorization moves at the speed of your plan — we file it the same day and chase it, but the plan sets the clock.
Can you ship, or do you deliver?
Both. Recurring supplies ship to you anywhere in Florida. Equipment that needs setting up — beds, lifts, mattresses, chairs — we deliver and assemble across Palm Beach and Broward.

Not sure where to start?

Call us and tell us what happened — a surgery, a new diagnosis, a discharge date, a supply you keep running out of. We will tell you what is usually needed, check your benefits, and ask your prescriber for the order if you do not have one yet.
